Peach State Truck Centers HR Director Wins SHRM-Atlanta IMPACT Award for Significant Human Resources Contribution

Thomas Bus Sales of Georgia in Jefferson, Georgia was certified Platinum Support by Thomas Built Buses on April 1, during the annual Thomas Built Bus Dealer Meeting in Dallas, Texas. This marks the first Peach State Truck Centers location to receive the accolade that sets a standard for Thomas Bus dealerships across the country.

Peach State Honors Employee Longevity with Loyalty Awards Program
Peach State Truck Centers introduced the Peach State Loyalty Awards Program in 2016 to recognize the longevity and loyalty of its employees. Awards were given out to employees whose years of service at Peach State fell on five year increments from five years going all the way up to 30 years with the company. Employees who celebrate these five-year milestones were shown the company’s appreciation by being presented with certificates of service, a nice polo shirt with their years of service printed on, additional days of paid time off, as well as American Express gift cards.

Another Record Breaking Year for the Winship 5K
For the sixth year in a row, the Winship Win the Fight 5K Walk/Run raised a record level of cancer research funding. According to Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, the event brought in more than $880,000. More than three thousand runners and walkers tackled the Peachtree Road Race qualifying course on Saturday, October 1st that started and ended on the Emory campus and wound its way through the surrounding Druid Hills-area.
