Thomas Bus Sales of Georgia Wows Customers at GAPT Events

The Thomas Bus Sales of Georgia team again made a big impression during the Georgia Association of Pupil Transportation’s annual conference at Jekyll Island the week of June 20. Nearly every aspect of the week’s events at the scenic beach locale featured the Thomas Team’s participation in some way.
The opening day kickoff lunch was sponsored by TBB and was attended by over 300 people. On Wednesday a large customer dinner was hosted by TBB at the renowned Jekyll Island Club that most participants called the most stunning event of the whole conference. But outside of these major happenings the team also spent time with customers on the golf course, at one-on-one dinners throughout the week, and showing off their truck display at the conference’s trade show.
The Thomas team—Rhonda Keener, Shane Mayfield, Ray Durden, Rick Alotto, Wayne Bias and Jeff Davis—prepared for months for this week, which General Manager Ken Lane considers the most important conference of the year for meeting new customers.
Peach State Truck Centers President Rick Reynolds attended Wednesday night’s customer dinner and was struck by how complimentary everyone was about Thomas Bus Sales of Georgia.
“Everyone was talking not only about how great the Thomas Built products are compared to other brands, but also the dependability of the sales and field support teams,” said Rick. “It’s no wonder they won the President’s Award for outstanding achievement last year.”
